Alignment question
Alignment question
Hopefully someone can help me. First off I have a 2005 4x4 Supercab. I had the alignment done today and I noticed, after I got home, the driverside rear tire is almost completly under the wheel well. I have 35x12.50 17 on 17x8 wheels with 5in backspacing, and the other 3 tires are sticking out from the body at least 1 inch, which is normal, except for that rear dr side one. Is this a coincidence and I need to look somewhere else for a problem or would the alignment have caused this.
I also took the tire off looked around and nothing appeared to be bent, and measured from the frame to the inner tire on both sides and everything measures even. Any suggestions?

the bed wasnt centered on the assembly line. There are no alignment adjustments in the rear. Just a coincidence.
Just FYI ive heard several complaints about this before on the 04-08 series trucks

there isnt much adjustment in the bed from what ive seen, but it cant hurt anything, just mark on the bed where it was incase you want to move it back.
are you still under warranty?

no its a 2005, warranty ran out a few years ago. another bone head thing i did the other day, that i forgot to include, was the jack bent while was rotating the tires and the truck slipped towards drivers side, it wasn't more that an inch or two off the ground when it happened, but maybe it was enough to push the axle towards the pass side??? luckly i hadn't removed the tires yet, just loosened the lugs. i completly forgot i did this. this opens up a whole new can of worms of possible problems.
the axle shouldnt have moved unless that was installed wrong, if you think thats the problem, check your u-bolts to make sure they are tight and make sure you can still see the head of a bolt through your shims and the perch on the axle
