Lightning rear sway bar compatible with 4x4?

I tried searching for this with no success..will a rear sway bar off of a Lightning bolt up to a 4x4? I'll have to use different end-links of course, would I need any other parts?

yes, it will work. the rear suspension on the 2WD Lightning is the same as stock 4WD F-150, with the exception of the 4x4 having 2'' blocks under the leaf springs.

if you plan on offroading at all, that rear sway bar will definitely limit your truck's articulation (flex)

Thanks mimimonster I have the opportunity to buy a sway bar off of a Lightning on e-bay and I just may do that. So basically I'll be needing end-links that are 2" longer? Does anyone know what other parts I'll need to make it work? The add says it comes with all the hardware, but I'll probably have to bolt it to the frame in a different location, maybe have to drill holes.

yeah, you will need new endlinks, or will be forced to pull your 2'' blocks. i would expect to have to drill/tap a hole or two w/ this, so be prepared.

I decided not to go with that bar, but instead buy an Addco off of someone who bought one and then sold his truck without installing it. I'll have to drill a few holes, but it looks like a really easy install..I should have it bolted on within a few weeks, I'll let you know how it works after the test drive.

Ok it's review time, I got my Addco rear sway bar Monday and installed it that night. It made a huge difference driving around corners, handles like a car now. The suspension feels tighter starting and stopping now, less bounce..feels much tighter. For everyone who is thinking about getting one put on, stop thinking and do it, you won't regret it.
