Does anyone know if there is a way to convert the 97-03 F-150 to a coilover suspension, aside the DBR long travel kit? Ideally, I'm looking for a way to retain my current fabtech kit, but add coilovers up front, and get rid of the torsion bars, torsion bar crossmember, and torsion bar drop down brackets that eat away at my ground clearance, as they were dropped down to compensate for the subframe crossmembers.

Any ideas, anyone? Would I be able to do this while retaining the stock upper and lower control arms? I wouldn't mind a little welding up front, if that's what it comes down to.

keeping upper and lower Control arms i doubt it.

it would be a total custom job. Extremely expensive and probably wouldnt retain the Fabtech

ditching the fabtech would yield an additional 6'' of ground clearance, as there would be no drop-down brackets. the downside to this is that it is an extremely expensive swap. i was kind of hoping to compromise by making the fabtech kit work w/ a coilover conversion. probably not going to work, though.
