IMO body lifts on a Ford isnt as bad as other brand trucks, with that being said its not that hard to hide the frame with some steps, hell even my amp steps cover most of my frame, get you some gap guards, and your doing pretty good.

Here's my 03 with steps covering the frame. They hide it pretty well IMO.

IDNC76 - Sweet truck. I'm jealous. Looks great.

I have found a few on Amazon.com for an 04-05 for less than 300 which is the cheapest i have found. JCWhitney.com also has them for close to 300.

I know when I bought mine about a year ago I got for around $250 without gapguards, I think the gap guards are around $50-100 range. The lifts really arent that exspensive, it's the install thats pricey, especially on our 04-08 models.

I have availablity to a lift since I'm a mechanic myself. So install isn't a prob what is the difference between the 04-05 and 06-08 kits ? Wish I had the cash to do the bodylift the same time as the lift next week. Must feel so good being that high up I thought my truck felt so much bigger with the leveling kit and 34s

Not really sure what the difference is between the two are, I know one thing different is the bumper brackets. Hell you got it made since you know your way around a shop, I actually had my mechanic do my body lift for me instead of a offroad shop, it took him about a day and a half.

You would be better doing the suspension and body lift at the same time, cause when you put the suspension lift and get 35's, then in december do a body lift, then you will have to get new tires again.

roughly, about how much does it cost to instal a body lift, and can u put a body lift on a truck that has a brushgard cause on my truck it conects to the frame where the tow hooks are and it goes under the grill of the truck so i got to thinking can u put a body lift on it with a brushguard???

your looking at $1000 for parts and labor

and yes you can still run a brushguard , it will sit 3" lower but you can fab up brackets to raise it
