I say you should get a body lift. You would be at 5.5" in the front, and that may be just what you need.

Rancho seems to be the most popular 4" lift i think $1800 with out shocks

Super Lift makes a 4.5" about $1600

Rough Country just came out with 4" $1300

if you wanna take the cheaper route , Body lift will run you about 1k if you have it installed and you would keep your leveling kit

with any of those lifts if you kept your leveling kit , you would have 6" of lift, which would defeat the purpose of the 4" lift

if money is no object , i would look into the rancho

i have a 6in kit on my 89 f150, and a 4in kit on my jeep. both roughcountry lift kits and i have no complaints. ordered a kit from skyjacker for my 89 f150, it sat on back order for a month, they could never give me a definite ship date. the only thing that makes rough country lifts cheaper is the elimination of the middle man. your best bet is to look into the kits and see if you can determine why there is such a price difference.

I got the adjustable shocks with my Rancho lift. I bought the lift when it was on sale with free shipping from 4wheelparts.com, it cost $1,800 with the shocks. Its been a great lift.

Sooo, I finally had the time to measure the top of my truck to the lowest section of my garage door...I have a good 5" from the the top of my truck to the garage door. Remember thats with my 2.5" level kit, so the level kit comes off with the lift right??? So my final question is I SHOULD be safe gettin that 4" rancho??? and still clearing the garage door??
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE INPUT GUYS

I think the Rancho 4" lift is closer to a 5", add in the leveling kit and you're up there!

subtract 2 1/2" if you dont re-use your leveling kit. so you have 7 1/2" - 4" for lift. then - 2 1/2" for tire that puts you with an inch to spare. if the rancho gives you 5+ inches tho it'd be close and might not end up fitting.

I dont think the 2.5" will fit. ColonelBlue has a 2" AS and I think he's maxed as far as angles are concerned...looks great though!! I think I am going with the 1.5" AS. As for the OP, maybe he should just sell his AS in the Classifieds and go with a 6" lift. If not the Rancho 4" is a great kit.
