Gettin ready to order a lift for my 01 f150. Can't make up my mind between the 6" fabtech or the 5" RCD. Wich do you think is the better lift. I have read that the front lift on the fabtech is really good but i dont like the idea of stacking blocks. Is stacking the blocks ok? Am i really goin to notice the extra inch with the fabtech? Please help me decide.

Also can anyone tell me a measurement to check if my rear springs are saggin. im not sure if they are but i just feel like the back is sitting lower than it should thanks.

Both are excellent lifts.

 

Go with the Fab-tech. That 1" will really make a difference if you want to have no rubbing issues with 35's.

 

They both are great kits. im running the RCD lift and its really nice, it comes with bilstein shocks, which the fabtech only comes with white body shocks.

but either one is a great choice. just get whichever one fits your budget.

 

I would opt for the fabtech, it is a true 6'' lift, whereas the RCD is a true 5'' lift. Bilstein makes lift shocks compatible w/ the fabtech kit.

 

I would get the 6" as well. Both are great kits and I believe pretty close in price so you might as well get more for the money.
