I'm cranking mine friday, is it necessary to have the front of the truck lifted to crank them?

No, you dont need the front end of the truck to be lifted to do it. You just need torsion bars.

Yea, i was wanting atleast 35 inch tires this go round. I have 325/60/18 which are 33 inch tires but when i help a tap measure to them i think it was less than 33.

The tires im lookin at right now are the new nitto trail tires and the toyo open country mt tires.

To clarify I believe GaNole meant front end lifted as in tires off the ground. It would not hurt to do so as it takes some of the stress off the system. Just keep track of how many turns you take on each bolt and keep them equal. Once you are finished you can measure again to make sure your sides are equal. Then go get an alignment.

Hmmm which bolts is it that you crank? The ones on the rear of the torsion bar obviously? Sorry I'm new to the torsion bar thing.
Thanks!

Yes. Just tighten each side an equal number of turns and get an alignment. I beleive they are 18mm.
