leveling kits

Alright im a new member on here and am new to ford pick ups (had a Z71). I have an 08 F150 4x4 and have been lookin for a levelin kit. They have 2, 2.5, and 3 inch ones. the auto spring i think is the name has really caught my eye due to the price. What is yalls input of this spacer? and i have the 4 door with the 6 1/2 foot bed. anyone got pics? and i would like to run 35s on the stock 18s or get some 20s with the right backspacing and run 35s...can this be done and still have the functionality??

Go with 2 or 2.5 AutoSpring with the powder coated finish. My 08 is a touch high in the front with the 2.5 but I like it. If you go to my profile there are pics. The 3" will make it sit too high and more importantly it creates too much angle/stress on your ball and cv joints causing premature failure. As far as 35's (no wider than 12.5) you can do it with your 18" rims, going to 20" rims you have to be careful with tire choice as they may not clear the UCA. Depending on tire choice you may have some rubbing.

take a look in the wheel threads there are tons of pics, im running 35's on aftermarket wheels with a 2.5" level and an add a leaf in the back and dont rub at all really. If you want to run 35's on an aftermarket wheel look for a wheel with specs close to the stock ones, I run an 8" wide wheel with 5.5" of backspacing, it can be done with the right wheel and right backspacing.

No. 35's are an extremely tight fit and will rub slightly.

so is it a bad idea to run 35s on my truck if i use it offroad on a daily bases? a lot or bumpy fields and ditches and ruts and just about everything you can think of. i dont wanna tear up my front end with the 35s on there and too much use

I have the procopms on 20 by ten iches wide with +ten off space and I rub a little bit.The size from pro comp said they are 33.5 inches. My freind has 35 on hisand rubs about hte same. When he parks buy me he is about a 1/2 inch higher than me.
