8" and 35"?
Well i made another thread about how im getting my lift put on next thursday. (CANT WAIT!) anyways, i already have a 2 inch leveling kit, so will that make my truck sag in the back? should i tell them to lift the back 2" along with the 6"? anyone got any pics of 8 inches of lift with 35s? thanks!
What kinda lift are you getting ? Some lifts require an add a leaf anyways for the rear to sit level. Some come with or you can get replacement leaf spring packs to bring the rear up to sit perfectly level. But an aal should do you good if the front is higher
I had the skyjacker 6 inch lift and i got the replacement springs with mine and left the 2" block back there ( no need for me to buy an add a leaf ) and it sits perfectly level

looks good buddy.....so is it better to get a longer spring as opposed to a leveling kit up front to get that extra 2 inches? I am doing a fabtech 6" basic lift so I know that the fabtech lift will give me 6 inches so everything "should " be level and maybe do a AAL of shackles or blocks in the back to make up for that extra 2 inches up front? my concern is upfront with the CV angles being outta whack....what do you suggest mhockey9090? I'll be runng 35's on 20's
fx4 for life 79 had 8" and 35's before he sold his truck last week :

ill try and track down some photos
edit: heres the only one i can find right now, but doesn't help you much. 35's will look to small, the most i would do is 7" with a true 35.

35s will look a little small but wont look bad at all.. there is a member around here that has an 8" Rize with 35s on bilsteins and looks good. I mean eventually if you want you can bump up too 37s...I got some pics to show you the front.. with a 2" your cvs wont be bad at all. Ive done some muddin with my spacer and no problems at all.

dang... all I have a body lift with a level kit... lol... But I've done some pretty hard trail riding in my truck, and driving thru lots of mud and crap like that... My angles are worse b/c I have a 3" level kit, but my point is, that you should be fine with a 2 -2.5" spacer up front... I don't recall if Fabtech basic uses coilovers or not, but if it does, you can just crank those up and wont have to worry about it rubbing when the suspension drops fully... Im actually looking at doing a Camburg setup up front, with the replacement a-arms/ball joints, and coilovers, or the Kings coilovers w/ Camburg a-arm/ball joint... Im tired of having my suspension drop all the way out and go "clunk" and then hit the other side of the bump and come off the ground and drop all the way out again... lol
