2 or 2.5 AS, which is actually level? 2009 screw

Yes I know there are a braziilian posts on this subject because I have read a ton of them and I have seen pictures...but my head is about to explode. Even Autosprings themselves say get the 2.5 if you dont tow/haul (which I dont) ...but Ive read numerous posts that the 2.5 is actually a little higher in the front and also it is harder to put on (like you have to remove the hub which aint a real big deal.) I just want level no more no less. If it makes a difference this wiil be going on a 2009 screw with the 6.5 ft box and 33" toyo mts

Well the easiest thing to do is just park on flat ground and measure from the ground to the center of the wheel on the back and front, subtract difference and then thats the length you need to sit level.

I personally bought a 2" AS and it lifted mine about 2 5/16 to be exact. I am actually dead even maybe a fuzz high, but looking at the truck it looks front high. I know the 2.5 kits also give a little more lift than 2.5. Hope this helps.

I put the 2.5 on my 04 SuperCab. The front was maybe .25" lower than the back by taking the measurements but if I put a level on the bed rail, it showed the front actually higher. I ended up also doing the Add A Leaf because I haul our motocross bikes in the back and that made the rear drop. Now I am back to fairly close to level with a stronger rear end so it doesn't squat as much under a load. If you want to level but insure that the front doesn't go higher than the back, I recommend the 2". Of course, mine is a defferent year.

This will probably confuse you more than ever... I have a 2" leveling kit on my truck and it is level and I really mean level. Take a look...

No rake, no high front... The same measured distance in the front and the rear... Oh Well...

i thought the wheels wells were different so thats not an accurate place to measure?

we have 2 1/2" on our 06 and 08 f150's and they are a tad nose high but not much at all. if you are nose high just add a slightly larger block to level it.
