Lifting the 99

Im starting to work on lifting my 99 5.4L 4x4 F150,Im figuring out all the options I have at getting the maximum clearance but also not alot of strain.
Im looking for any opinions on doing this.
So far I have found 6" BDS and Fabtech lifts and a 3" body lift...I also know I can crank my torsions up..Whats other options do I have? (Besides whiplash and full throttle suspension lifts )

talk to cashel or eufhren, both have the 6 3 combo running 38's.

i think that combo you are wanting is the best, you will need to re-gear your axles running that large of a tire.

The 6+3 is a pretty reliable, solid combo. Go with the Fabtech 6", PA 3" body lift, get yourself some 4.88 gears and 38's and call it a day. Don't forget your gap guards, lift your exhaust (it'll be hanging 3" lower), and get some different tow hooks so those don't droop either (89 - 98 GM tow hooks work perfectly). Any other questions, just let me know

I don't think I've seen that photo of your truck before Cash. I only say that becuase your truck is one of my favs, is it in your profile?

I am definatly going the route that you did, but probabaly in stages. I'll run 35s and a BL first, and that will give me time to save for the Fabtech 6" kit and 38s.

The pictures are in my profile. I need to get new ones though, those are the latest ones and they're from March. The body lift first sounds smarter, it'll be less of a PITA to install it than if the truck is sitting 6" higher. Good luck man, can't wait to see it.

Thanks.
I haven't put any AALs or additional blocks, no. I'll try and remember to get some pictures later today when I find the camera. It sits pretty high, I see the roofs of just about everything that isn't lifted.
