2wd lift/wheels/tires opinions

its 02 5.4 Screw that i'm wanting to lift and run 35's on. i'm lifting my 2wd cause i dont do any offroading anymore but i've always loved having a lifted truck with bigger tires.

now thats out of the way here kinda what i have in mind for now:

lift - 7.5 fabtech

wheels - helo HE791 Chrome, 16x10, 4.52 BS, -25 offset

tires - LT325/80R16 Baja Claw Radials

spacers - rear spacers to bring wheel/tire out even with front

gears - 4.56?

i'm deployed right now and will be returning in Jan and thats when i plan on doing all this to my truck. i'm going to be purchasing the kit before i get back sometime in Dec more then likly and having my buddy run my truck over to 4wheelparts in Dallas and having them do it all up for me so its ready to go when plane touches down.

what do ya'll think and do i need to rethink anything?

you need to buy my coil spacers for about 1.5" of lift in the front lol. but the fabtech should be good. I do believe Dnasty77 has that on his truck and hes happy. Id like that kit. when you get it done, let me know and we will go out muddin, and you can pull my 2wd out

haha thanks, yeah your just right down the road. we dont get much mudd out this way so thats the main reason for selling it and going 4wd + adding all the lift and everything. we just roam the back roads which stay pretty dusty and dry so.

Welcome to the club!... well soon.

In order to run those tires you're going to need a 3" body lift too because they are essentially 37" x 13" tires.

you probly can run 37's w/ the 7.5" and a 1.5" spacer and the right backspacing.

Gator Crew is running 37s with a 3" body, a 1.5" spacer, and a 2" aal. I believe he told me the body lift is necessary.

17x9 Helo HE791 Chrome wheels
35x12.5-17 toyo M/T's OR 325/70R17, Terra Grappler

Yes sir, you are correct, you will need the body lift to run 37's

SpdBoss, actually, if you order through 4 wheel parts, you may have a hard time finding wheels for the 97-03. I just went through my 3rd set of KMC Badlands in less than 2 years(Pitting from poor chrome plating...made in china, go figure!) Anyways, they only had one rim for me to choose from this time since they were not making them available in a 20x9.5/5x135 bolt pattern. It ended up being a MotoMetal 956..O well, not my favorite brand of wheels, but they were FREE and they don't look to bad(will post some pics up later). I'm sure you might be able to find more wheels for the 5x135 from other compaines besides 4 wheel parts
