I am on the market for a lift kit and came across one locally on Craigs List. Its is a Fabtech 6in lift kit. The seller has had it on for approx four years. He is asking 600. Do yall think its safe to buy a older kit? What kind of things to look for? If so is that price legit? Thanks for any info you can provide.

 

First of all, Fabtech never made an 8 inch lift kit for the 97-03 F-150's so that is the first red flag.

its up to you, 600 isn't to much but your buying a kit that might have been used and abused and it wont mount up properly to your truck. but then again it might be in perfect shape.
