im attempting to put on a 6in procomp lift. im at the part where the knuckle comes off and im stuck. im trying to follow the directions but they are not to good. R there any write ups on how to put this lift on that r better than the instructions that come with the lift. i really need some help. Or if anyone lives near abbeville SC and has put a lift on their truck before wants to come help they are welcome to.

Any knuckle you are referring to that has a ball joint through it may require a little "beating". The shaft on ball joints are tapered so even with the nut removed they are still in there pretty good.

They key is to use a hammer and hit the cast iron portion on the side where the ball joint passes through. You may want to use something to apply a little force to the ball joint in the direction needed to come out. Once you hit it a couple times it will pop apart don't let it scare you LOL.

If this is not what you are talking about let me know.

As mentioned - hit it with a BFH. (Big F**king Hammer)! It will pop off after several good whacks.

EDIT: Nevermind, you must be talking about something else....

To remove the hub bolt you have to first remove a cotter pin and then there's a round sleeve thing you can remove. After that it is a 36mm nut you have to remove and you should be in business.
