Is there a chance you have two drive shafts? Like a short one to a long one? I've heard too that what ever the angle is out of the trans that you should have the same angle to the diff. Like it dips 5 degrees and then 5 degrees to the diff to keep the harmonic balance or some such crap

Thanks, but you didn't have to go looking for them tonight. Those look like they are a little more than mine, but may actually be what I need. I know another guy on here ordered two of the kits I have to have a big enough angle. What you want for them?

They do sell longer driveshafts, but they also make a spacer which is cheaper. I understand what you're saying about the same angle at the trans. and on the rear diff.. I always understood it as you want to have somewhat of an offset on the rear diff. angle that way when you pull something it's all in line and there no bind on the pinion when pulling a load. I'm really not an expert on any of this. I learn something new everyday.

No i'm no expert either but just going by what i've learned from the folks on here. Did you try adding the block without the shims. That was the solution from the guy I got the lift from. I know its a pain in the butt to keep dropping the axle to try different configurations but it might be worth a try. Personally I think you need that drive shaft from the classifieds hehehehe. The shims I have, make me an offer. 3/8 on one side like yours to 1/8. Just pay for shipping

You sound like me. I'm always on here reading through the forums learning more and more. At least you got the 8" lift from the start. I wish I would have done that instead of the set-up I have now. My next thing is to remove the spacer up front and get the Bilsteins until eventually I replace everything with the Rize.
I actually never had any vibration. I only put the shim because my pinion seal went out about 2 months ago and ford told me it was because of my pinion angle. I don't believe thats why it went out, but I changed it anyway. I just paid $35 w/ shipping for the shim kit I got today. I noticed you're from Ohio, but sure shipping can't be to bad. Only thing I'm concerned about with the extra shim is my U-bolts being long enough. I don't have much thread past the nut right now.

I would like to get that drive shaft from you, but I'm currently unemplyeed so I can't put much money into the truck. I hadn't been doing much to the truck because I been trying to save for a home.

I'm just teasing about the shaft. I'm just sick of my bed always being full of water. Then I drive down the road and water it as I go. maybe a piece plywood and some black paint. That pinion seal sounds like BS. Lots of guys have lifts and no trouble unless you somehow put extra strain on it. I have also heard not to stack anything back there-big problems. Springs, one block, then axle. Springs, a couple blocks, then a shim, then the axle might be trouble. I argue that its all sandwiched together with the u bolts so what does it matter, but I keep hearing "problems".

So little tikes is making F150 parts now huh? I really like it. If you hit something it will just bouce back right? They make that it pueblo gold?

Just PM me your address.

Do like me and have the rear sag a little, maybe it will let the water run out while it's parked.
It was just a reason for the dealer not to cover it. Procomps lift consist of stacking blocks. I went to North Mississipi (5hrs) to pick up a boat. Since I have stacked blocks I'm thinking maybe my rear end moved some way and caused the seal to go out. Usually a seal gradually starts to leak. When I got home I looked under my truck and there was oil everywhere. But when I parked it was leaking on the concrete driveway. Wierd situation. So now I have one block and the shims plus springs.
