Lift Kit ?'s

Ok i have a 2008 ford f-150 fx2 sport and im thinking bout getting a Fabtech or pro company 6 inch lift kitchen and i want to get 35" toyo open country mt tires and 20" XD monsters... But financially its gonna tough to get that all at one time...My ? is can i get a lift and use my stock tires till i get the 35's

I don't see why you couldn't use stock tires depending on how wide your new rims would be. Unless you were using stock wheels and tires until you got all the $$ together.

Might look a little funny but I don't see why you couldn't.

Nice looking truck too!

I would use the stock wheels and tires... (as in the picture)

Some kits have wheel backspacing requirements. I'd contact Pro Comp and Fabtech and ask them. I believe members here have reported that you could use the OEM wheels with small tire with the Pro Comp lift.

I imagine you could, it'll just look goofy as hell, check with some 04+ members though to make sure those wheels fit. Before my 38's, I had a 6" Fabtech on 285/70/17's and it looked really odd. If nothing else just hold off till you have the cash for both or look into used 35's.
