35s on a 2wd

i know everyone is tired of this subject but i still have ???ss about the whole situation, i have a 06 regualr cab f150 and am running 33x1350 17s on stock rims with no leveling kit and there is slight teeny tiny rubbing at full lock i think cause the tires are so wide, and i just dont see how 35s wouldnt fit with a leveling kit. I was convinced they wouldnt fit until i saw someone on here i think who had them (white 2wd f150 with 315 bfg AT)

also i pretty sure the regular cab 2wds sit up higher than the 4 door 2wds

again sorry to be a pain but ive got to buy tires this week and i wqant to know for sure

plz help

I think the people that put 35's with the leveling kit buy wheels with alot more backspacing that stock rims offer. That would allow for a larger wider tire. And a 315 on 17's is actually a 34.3 inch tire. I guess they round that up?

Wont work without rubbin seen it done in person not on mine but a guys in town, It will rub like crazy all the way around, def depending on what tire brand and tread you run, wont look all that great, so much stuffage of huge tire and no wheel well opening whatsoever pretty much, just my opinion, do a leveling kit then install atleast a 2BL or a 3BL. Then youll be running them without rubbin issues..

The 305's are 33.8 so basically a 34. I think if you put a 2inch maybe a 2.5 inch leveling kit you could fit the 305's. I have no proof of what tman07f150 is saying but thats a lot of tire to shove in there with no lift. But if you put a body lift on there you could definitely fit the 305's or throw a leveling kit in there and get those 35's you are wanting. Just depends on how much you are wanting to spend.

Yeah Im sayin you runnin 35s with just a levelin kit on leveled 2wd.. is way to much tire IMO, you would need a BL to help eliminate any rubbage, the guy I seen in town had 2.5 leveled 2wd with aftermarket 18s with 35s and they rubbed his fenders when hitin dips or bumps front and rear, The 305s are not as tall nor as wide as full out 35s I believe depends on what tire, yeah they may fit with a 2.5 level but Id expect possibly some rubbin or a full stuffed fender, just copy and compare you current specs on your tires your runnin to the ones your wanting .. size, width, all specs then figure in with the 2.5 level kit if theres enough room..

I dont think they should be any wider than the tires you already have on your truck. If anything they should be narrower, which will help to keep them from rubbing.

Well im sure there are a few. Im not sure on what to tell you because its hard to find a 305 for a 17inch wheel. I have hercules trail diggers on the truck in my sig. They have been great tires and I have had them for almost a year now. They may not be a name brand but I would recommend them to anybody. I dont know if they make them in a 305 though. I havent heard anything about the bighorns.. good or bad.

well i always shopped on ebay for everything, so when it came for tires i did the same and i found maxxis bigorns mud terrain 305 70 17 brand new for 695, so i googled the tire and its actually pretty popular. I even saw a few 150s with them
