"Clunking" noise from drivers side....

I've been experiencing a "clunking" noise when ever I turn either to the right or left, and when backing out. The noise is coming from the front drivers side wheel...i dont know what it could be???? I took it back to the dealership twice already, first they supposably greased everything in the suspension, second they retightend everything and greased again. But the noise is still there, it dosent sound healthy for it to be doing that
What do yall think I should do

07 SCREW FX4
2.5 level kit(might be the problem, but idk)

Thanks guys

My guess is going to be a balljoint. How many miles on the truck? And FWIW "supposably greased everything in the suspension, second they retightend everything and greased again" is a crock. There are no serviceable grease points in the suspension.

you might not want to say to check the balljoints themselves bc if they did go out then your going to be paying for them unless ford did the install on the leveling kit. Bc a leveling kit is an alteration to the suspension and how the ball joints wear ( will wear quicker than without a leveling kit ). So if it is the balljoints replace them yourself and save tons bc they will void warranty on everything they can so they dont have to do work.

I myself knew a guy very well in the mechanic bay that he took my truck in for suspension reasons or tightening things up and also replaced several cv boots/ half shaft. Bc technically i did the install on the suspension and the leveling kit i altered the suspension so therefor i voided my warranty on such things... So i got lucky and you might too but be careful is all im saying bc they may or may not decide to help you out

i hear it alot on mine as well when im trying to turn with these 37s....I was told before on these forums that it may also be the half shafts ( only in use with 4x4 but still spin in 2 wheel) but those were the things that were making noises when i was trying to turn...I mean when i was running 35s and i would crank the wheel i would hear that noise but now if your just turning slightly and its making the noise i would look into it but for the most part if its hard turns and such its prob the half shafts clunking.

Balljoints wont make a clunking noise that i know of. They will make like a sqeaking noise more than a clunking noise.

Well I just got back from Ford, the A-Holes actually said they havent done ANYTHING to my truck! when they said that I went ahead and asked to speak to their Manager, After a quick converstaion with him he got it all taken care of. So they told me to go ahead and leave my truck for the day and that it should be done either tonight or early tomorrow morning....lets see how it turns out this time lol

this time the main suspension guy ask me to give him a ride, as soon as we took off it that noise was there. He said that he was sure that it might be the half shaft. That was the first thing he was gonna check out and just go from there.

yeah from what you were saying the clunking noise did sound like it was the half shaft. I actually am gonna take mine by to see if the people i know at my ford will replace both lower and upper control arms on mine haha( Driver UCA and Pass LCA ). the boots are torn on mine from the muddin and heat here in texas. I have a leveling kit but i know its not from that

hopefully it is the half shaft lol. I actually half to be on back country roads quite a bit, I dont half to go muddin but I guess I just have too, haha. but anyways I guess they actually didnt want to mess with the shaft because they were trying to use my level kit as an excuse...but thats how I bought the truck from them, and they saw the paperwork and they saw that it was still covered no matter what.
GOODLUCK WITH YOUR NICE LOOKING RIG MHOCKEY!!
