Pics of 8" Rize w/ 35's..?
Pics of 8" Rize w/ 35's..?
Looking for pics of that combo..would it look kind of silly? I want to stay away from regearing and if I ran 37's with the 8" in a 1/2 ton, it would be illegal here in WI
Get the Rize, 37s and gears and move, lol. If you can't run that big of a tire you can just run 35s on a leveling kit, 4" or 6" lift.
Wait, you info says an '03, I think Rize doesn't make a kit for pre-'04 trucks.

I probably should change that lol. I was just T-boned the other day with that truck and it's totaled. So I am looking at '04+ F150s. I had a 6" Fabtech in the last one with 35's...the lift may have saved my life too...Im just looking to get something a little bigger...
just go with the 37s you wont regret it. mine is illegal here and ive had it on over a year now with only 1 cop ever give me trouble. all i had to do was put my stock tires on and get it looked at then put it back together. just make sure your not doing stupid things to attract any cops to you
I know California is strict regarding some vehicle laws, but when it comes to trucks we can lift them pretty high before we run into legal issues.
I don't think an 8" lift would look bad at all with 35s, as long as the 35s are as wide as possible and protrude outward from the fenders quite some distance. I am currently on 35s and a 6" lift, but I will be adding coil-overs and getting another inch or two just for the fender gap. Bear in mind that I am from Cali, so my taste in trucks is likely different than the rest of the country's.

hmmmm... I'll take a look now.. Thanks!
Keep in mind what you want to do with the truck though, as a 20x12 is not going to be a cheap rim and also not one that you will want to do a lot of off-roading with. I am planning on building a trail vehicle, so that allows me to turn my truck into more of a mall-crawler and pretty tow vehicle without losing the ability to wheel (in the trail rig) when the urge comes over me.
If you do plan on a lot of off-roading, there is nothing wrong with the 17" rims and Mud Grappler tires.

I have a picture that may show some what of what your going to look like. I was running a 6inch skyjacker with a 2inch leveling kit to make it at 8 inches of lift all around. Just to give you an idea. I had 35X12.5R18 on at the time and currently going to sell if interested. Heres the pic. Now with the rize i think you will have more fender well space than i did
