2wd to a 4X4 stance

How do I make my two wheel drive stand like a stock 4X4 with a 2.5 inch leveling kit?

The stock 04-08 4x4's sit about 2 inches taller than the 4x2's. A 3 inch body lift and a 2 inch leveling kit will put you a hair taller than a stock 4x4 with a leveling kit.

I would go with 2.5AS level and put 2'' blocks in the rear, that should get you very close to stock 4x4. Avoid the hassle of the body lift if possible.

What does AS stand for?
If you decide to go for the Daystar 2.5" coil spacer you will have to get longer control arms and longer shocks. You can get a Daystar 2" coil spacer though and you'll be in the clear.

I was under the impression the 2.5 inch level kit for the front did not requier anything else but then to bolt it on. Is there a lift kit that I can buy that would be equal to what a a 4X4 is without having to do the leveling kit or body lift? In other words a full kit like fabtech, but not a 6 inch lift.

I believe all of the suspension lifts for the 4x2's are 6 inches. That would put your 4x2 at the same height as a 4x4 with a 4 inch suspension lift.
