help, level front or drop the rear??
2wd leveling kits drastically change the front suspension geometry and cause premature wear on ball joints. Install is a pain. Plus you have to get an alignment afterwards.
Rear drop shackles change the payload and towing capacity a small ammount. Simple install.
I've had both, and prefer the shackles for the levelled look. Ride is the same.

hello, Im new here and Im actually looking to lower the rear on my 07 RCSB f150 2wd, Im definately not lifting the front, but the truck is my everyday drive and Im only worried installin the rear 2inch drop shackels for fear of getting a vibration in the driveline, Ive heard more people that have done it without issues than those who have done it and had some kinda issue.. I think it would be fine,??
-Another thing I went on summitracing to get some rear drop shackles and their not showin up any for 07 model f150 2wds?? but... the belltechs they offer in part #6406 which is for 04 models, is shown on stylintrucks as the same part # for F150s 04-09 so Id assume they would work on my 07,? sorry ,, thanks for any replies.
