alignment questions... lowered suspension
i have a 3" front/ 2" rear drop on my Expedition. when i installed the drop, i also installed new upper ball joints and alignment kit i bought from BellTech.
took it to the alignment shop, well, a mechanic shop that does alignments and got it aligned... after that, i noticed one tire looked like it was straight up and down, and the other (passenger side) kinda sat like this: / (top of tire is in more toward motor than bottom).
so i take it back to the shop. he rechecked it and said the toe was out a little bit but everything else was right and it was right now...
well, now the passenger tire still sits like this: /
my questions are:
1) is this right? i have put probably 1000 miles on the truck and havent noticed any visible tire wear.
2) if this isnt right, should i not waste my time with that shop and just go to the dealership? or a front end specialty shop?
the truck doesnt really pull or anything and the steering wheel is straight so...

thanks! i am going to take a reading for tire wear once a week with a tread depth gauge. it if gets to be more than 2/32" difference between the inside and outside of the tread, i will take it to the dealership and have them fix it RIGHT...
i recently did my alignment... never noticed a huge amount of wear on my tires... but since ive done it because of my over-sized tires i do rub now... ****ty cause im dropping lower too..
but yeah i would get it checked somewhere reputable...

Time is my biggest concern. I don't have a lot extra of it. Lol
But I did call the dealership and they said they can knock it out in a couple hours. And my wife works next door so I can get her to run it over there one day.

an alignment should take no more then an hour tops of actual labor
I used to be able to do full 4wheel sensor hook up, and a 4 wheel alignement in about 40 minutes when i worked at Land Rover of Austin

Well I took it to the dealership and dropped it off while I was out of town this week. They made the adjustments I needed. Apparently the shop did not touch the camber. I called him and asked about it and he swore that was all set but I know it wasn't. Oh well, I shoulda asked him the day I picked it up when I noticed it wasn't right. I will from now on...
Well, the service manager said it is right now so we'll see!

Last week was hectic. It was like as soon as I got back in town I turned around and went again. Since I was out of town my wife stopped by the dealership and paid for me. I asked her to get the printout but haven't thought to ask her for the paperwork yet.
Truck is runnin great so far.
