back left tire wears more on outside???? help
back left tire wears more on outside???? help
my back left tire always wears alot more on the outside of the tire. i have really noticed it with my mud tires because they wear alot quicker. any suggestions on what the problem could be? thanks ur help would be appreciated.

by back let you mean rear driverside correct?
if so then alittle extra wear on that tire is kinda normal do to the gass tank being right there. Now what your sating is the outside of the tire is wearing quicker... so id inspect you leaf springs and rear should.

yes rear driverside.... it does sag a little big on that side and always has.. ill just rotate the tires soon? its just strange to see this happen... and i do not drive like nascar.. ahahah
You may want to get a 4 wheel alignment. Sometimes when a lift is installed, the rear can get out of alignment with the front.
Have you ever noticed a car driving down the road in front of you that the rear wheels are offset from the front. That is what the condition will do to your tires.
A simple way to check it at home:
Find a long strait seem in concrete, and drive your truck along it, keeping it a straight as possible. When you've driven enough distance to have the truck in line with the seem, just get out and look to see how the tires are lined up on the seem. If the rear end is to one side of center more so than the other, you have found the problem.
