Fabtech or Rancho

I see some blue kit all over the net and some black kit here.

I want the black kit, no way i'm putting some blue on a red truck, but i can't find part number for the black kit.

So the question, does Fabtech offer the two kit? Or it's just a black kit now?

Edit : Ok i've look with a shop close from me and i can have the Fabtech basic for 2615$ Canadian ship to my door.

Now the problem is i can have the Rancho with 4 RS9000XL for 300$ more to my door.

Witch kit to go with?

I ordered mine through Top Gun Customz and they noted that "All Kits Come in Black Powdercoating!". Most other places I looked at stated something similar. When I decided to order through them I called them first just to make sure it would be black.

Unless you get lucky and order from someone who has stock on hand you may be waiting a little. I ordered mine at the first of April and am still waiting. I talked to Fabtech directly last Friday and they told me to expect at least six more weeks (I ordered the basic 4x4 kit). The person I spoke to did confirm they have filed bankruptcy (restructuring), but are still in business. My guess is the wait has something to do with their suppliers not providing product without upfront payment due to the bankruptcy; what else would cause such a long wait?

Based on the reviews this lift has gotten on this site I have no problem waiting.

All in all you have been waiting for 2 month and you still have 1.5 month to wait. Damn i hope the shop i'll order from will have it in stock. I don't want to wait 3 month for a lift.

fx4 for life 79 Everywhere i look, they post a blue kit for sale. That's why i ask the question.

I know on almost all the truck picture i've seen, they have black kit. Just wanted to be sure.

But now the problem is, the shop only ask 300$ more for a Rancho with RS9000XL shock on all 4 corners. Witch one to go with, damn.

I think the blue was their original color and started with black on 150's with the heritage back in 04

I ordered my Skyjacker from Topgunz on Monday the 25th of May and it will be here tomorrow. Price wasn't that different than the Fabtech.

The Fabtech gives your brand new shocks on all 4 corners that ride incredibly nice. I would never pay 300 more for 2" less of lift and inferior quality.

Decided to go with the Rancho in black with RS9000XL on all 4 corners. The wait was to long for the Fabtech and i prefer the look of the Rancho.

People have been saying the Rancho give 5'' of lift. So won't be losing that much lift.

How long of a wait did they give you on the Fabtech?
