Installing my Fabtech (pics)

So yesterday I started to install my Fabtech 7.5" lift. At the end of last night I got most of the dis assembly done except the LCAs. This was a huge learning experience for me because I had never done anything this extensive on an automobile before. Man those 9 year old bolts and joints where on there!

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pictures...

End of last night:

Today I finished the dis assembly and got everything installed just before the rain started.

End of tonight:

I figure tomorrow I'll be able to start and finish the back and monday get an alignment.

A few notes for some other people attempting this:
1) Have lots of penetrating oil
2) Have a LARGE breaker bar
3) Have a jack and jackstands that go high enough
4) Use caution!

I nearly Broke my nose putting the driver side tire back on. The wood on the jack splintered and rocked the truck while my head was in the fender well. The truck slammed my face into my tire. Luckily the truck didn't fall on my head and I only had a bad bloody nose.

Thanks to Davespeed for the lift. He is an excellent guy to work.
Thanks also to Patmancrew03sprcrw for his pads and rotors write-up, it really helped with the dis assembly and assembly.

Thanks guys. I'd like to get these:

Ultra Baja Champs in 16x10

With 315/75/r16 Fierce Attitude MTs (although the sidewall and name are pretty lame)
