Taking it to Trailmaster...question?

So my old 4 inch trailmaster lift is falling apart and the design on this kit is junk. So I wrote trailmaster and now they say they will sell me a 6 inch lift for 950 (cost) + shipping. So the question is should I do it or not? Anyone have any of there 6 inch kits and if so how are they?

Thanks Dave...

ps. Wonder how much I can get for my 4 inch kit?

Ok let me ask this then... Does anyone have a trailmaster lift or has anyone heard any good/bad things about them? And if you have one would you buy from them again?

Thanks Dave

To be honest, Ive never even heard of trailmaster. You might be better off going with someone like fabtech or pro comp. I know if it were me, and I were unsatisfied with a companies product, I wouldnt buy the same product again of the same design and quaility, just 2 inches bigger such as your case.

How long have they had it? If anything they should fix it or give you a new one.

They dont make this kit anymore. Actually they dont make a 4 inch kit anymore just a 6 inch. I told them I just wanted my kit fixed but they dont even have the parts to do it so they offered me a 6 inch for 950 total from 1800-2k retail. I am just not sure about going with the same company again. I really want a fabtech but cant afford to drop 2k on it.

Not sure what to do now i guess?

Idea's?

Trailmaster has been around for quite a while actually. They were bought out by the company that make performance body lifts and or-fab, they do a lot of tube parts like jeep doors and light bars. A lot of people said they 4 inch lift had some weakness in them so the new owners had the kit redesigned, which is why you can't get your kit fixed. I know a lot of people who don't like trailmaster but with the owner of performance body lifts taking over and redesigning, body lifts which everyone here swears by, it might be worth giving a look. I would give it a try for 950, no its not fabtech, but who is but fabtech

Ok I think I am going to go with the 6 in lift. Anyone know how much a 4 inch used lift is worth?
