Cool I need some advice on lowering kits. please!

I own a 03 F150 King Ranch Supercrew and want to lower the truck. I know some of you may think I'm crazy to lower a 4x4 lol, but trust me, it will look nice.

I'm thinking of either getting a full lowering kit which are around 550$-650$ from DJM, Belltech, Groundforce, etc...they're all around 2" to 4" inches and include shocks. But then I also heard that I can lower my truck with the torsion bars, but then I'm not sure how low I can go and if this will be hard on my transfer case and such. So it would basically cost me around 250$ to 300$ for new shocks and a shackle kit for the back if I can just lower the front with the torsion bar adjuster.

I'm just looking for advice, if anyone has ever done any of these mods and if everything ended up being ok. I will be doing all the work myself, so I just want whatever will be best for the money, thanks all!
