I'm retarded. Thank you.

So why do they come with a new carrier bearing?

They come with a carrier bearing relocation bracket, for people who have 2pc drive shafts, to move the shaft up. Since you are using the one piece DS you're getting you'll have to use the transmission shim included in the kit and not the CB relocator bracket. The kit (either one you choose, 9949 or 9944) has all the parts and instructions you'll need. I believe the 9944 comes with front bilstein shocks and rear GF shocks, and the 9949 only rear GF shocks. Looks like (looking at the link you gave) they are the same price, but I would verify with a phonecall before ordering.

depending on the diameter of the driveshaft, you may have to trim the carrier bearing bracket mount even after you take off the carrier bearing itself.

I might know someone that wants your 2 piece DS so dont throw it out

I will have a two piece drive shaft. Couldn't get a single. It will be larger than stock with a different carrier bearing.

Well then you'll have to use the bracket. Instructions are provided for that too. You'll have to cut down your stock bracket and install the short relocation bracket. Not too terribly hard.

No prob. I only know so much about this because I did a ton of research myself before buying, and ultimately ended up with exactly what I wanted.

Hahaha the only thing that DS is good for is holding down a LOT of paper or blunt force trauma.
