Need help

to start i got a 2003 f150 supercrew never messed with suspencion its all stock tire size p285 50r20

so i replaced all 4 tires on my truck and the front tires were completely worn off to the wire on the inside of the tire so i took it to get an alignment and i was told that i needed to replace the upper n lower control arms i digure i had to replace the ball joints but i dont mind getting new arms.. so the pricing i got was $670 for new right n left upper n lower arms labor and alignment is that a fair price?

and i was looking to purchase either the djm suspension lowering kit but dont know either to purchase the 2/4 drop or 4/6 would the tires rub.. and does this kit just bolt on or do i need to purchase more stuff or do mods

your help is greatly appreciated thanx

Ford replaced all four of my ball joints and my idler arm on my truck and came up with a bill of about $900. The extended warranty paid for itself there.
