04-08 SCrews 2WD with 3" Body Lifts

Does anyone have this setup?

If so then please post some PICS.

I may be in the market to install one!

I don't think I've ever seen anyone on here with a 04-08 2wd with a BL... I think it would look great though... You're gonna be paying a lot to have it done though. I was quoted for 390 to buy the PA BL and then 850 to install it :/ I think it looks good, and its still a lot less than a suspension lift, but its still an awful lot of money. There is someone on here with a '03 (I think) 2wd SuperCrew that's Tan and has 35s on it... His truck looks really good too. Plus, I don't know if you have the towing package or not, but if youd don't, that's one less thing to worry about hanging down is that tow bar in the back...

By the time you get a body lift, installed and move the rear hitch good and fix other stuff. It's almost as expensive as the 6" Fabtech

Even if you do the install work? I'm still torn myself, I'd rather do a suspension lift due to ease of install, but the cost is deterring me. On the other hand, the body lift is cheap but just reading the installation instructions make me cringe. I also have a 2wd.

Mind you I installed a body lift on my younger brothers 99 Ranger and it wasn't bad. Hardest part the the rear bumper brackets but totally doable...

I was poking around PA website and found this: https://www.shopatron.com/product/pa...06.2.0.0.0.0.0 Is that seriously a 5.5 inch body lift?!!?

Quoted $750.00 for install - not worth the effort personally so she is going to stay this height. I do want to get Dual's and new wheels so that money will be better served for those mods than the BL.

What height are you wanting? Or to just fit 35s? Get wheels you'd want even if you put a 6" lift on.

No, that's a kit containing a 3 inch body lift and a 2.5 inch leveling kit.

I can post a picture for you tomorrow. I paid $415 for the kit, $500 for install of the b/l and AS 2.5 leveling. So, all in all my 5.5" lift installed cost less than the Fabtech lift alone. I think I got a nice deal on the install. Let's say I've been to the shop a time or two with my now-dead Ranger.
