tie rod gone at 25k ??

I just brought my truck to the local firestone and they did an inspection on the front end and came back with a loose tie rod end on the drivers side. I have a 2.5" leveling kit on the front and am wondering if this caused it? Also will my factory warranty cover this with the leveling kit?

I doubt the leveling kit caused a tie rod end to go bad. Your warranty should cover it. I'd ask them to check the other tie rod ends and the ball joints also.
When I installed my 35's a couple of years ago, my shop found the idler arm was bad. Since I had a 60,000 mile extended warranty (and the truck was at 57,000miles) I took it to the dealer. They replaced the idler arm and all four ball joints without any questions. That would have been a $900 bill if not for the warranty.
