Need Some help

I have a 04 f150 ext cab 4x4 has 103k on it. I'm wanting to put a 2.5" leveling kit and an add a leaf. The question i have is am i going to need new shocks for the front? i see kits being sold with and without shocks. I plan on leaving the stock 18" rims on what size tire will fit and look good? and last where is a good place online that i can get the leveling kit and the add a leaf?

Get the leveling kit off ebay. You can get them delivered to your house for as little as $69. Autospring is the most popular brand and is easy to install.

BTW, you don't need new shocks for the leveling kit or add-a-leaf.

Since you have 103k miles, your oem shocks are probably worn out. I would recommend replacing them with Bilstiens. THey feature adjustable spring preload which allows you to lift the front of the truck 2 inches to level it.

If you also want new shocks, and I suspect that @ 103K miles you might need them, then consider adjustable shocks. You'll get new shocks, better shocks, a better ride, and a leveled truck. Look into Go Rancho, Bilstein, or Belltech.

A 2 inch lift should make your truck sit level. If you want the rear higher you could install a taller lift block or an AAL. As for tire sizes you can fit up to a 35x12.50 tire using the oem wheels. THis is a very tight fit and they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock.
