many will disagree but 6 inch lift with those saleens on some 35 toyos could look pretty good

no one makes a mud tire to fit a 23" rim, so that idea is done with. some 35's on 22's would look nice, but most would agree a 35x12.50-18 or 20's would be better. it's all about preference and how deep your pockets are

Your wheels will depend on what the lift kit's specs are. I have an '07, and the specs call for a 17" wheel. I suppose I could have bought wheels that were bigger. But the bigger you go, the more the tires will cost.

ive seen pretty aggressive A/T's. Assuming the OP doesn't plan to offroad much. From the sound of him wanting to either lift or drop, he probably plans on making this a road queen either way. does nitto make a 23" terra grappler? my step dad has them on his truck, they don't hum much, have pretty decent mud traction and are wearing pretty evenly.

Nope. you can get 22's and 24's inch tires but not 23's. not too common of tire size, except on exotic cars, just like you never hear much of 19's or 25's, they make 'em though.

that stinks.

how much are the chrome saleens runnin for? guy could maybe buy some more universal rims with the cash from the saleens. id love to put them on an OBS like mine, but its the wrong lug pattern. im sure they make adapters, or i could have adapters made. but that would be expensive and i dont have that kind of money?

2 wheel drive trucks should be lowered.

4 wheel drive trucks should be lifted.

Amen.

personally i say to each his own.

not long ago, people said 20" rims belonged on lowered trucks and cars. not lifted trucks.

some HD's are AWD. That isn't 4x4 but it's close, and they are lowered. Ive seen maybe one lifted HD. food for thought
