Lift kit install

I have a 2004 4x4 Expedition Eddie Bower. I am installing a Daystar 2" lift/level kit (KF09110BK) soon. The Expedition had 58k miles on it. Should I replace the shocks, springs, etc since I have it appart? If so, what parts do you recomend?

Since you have it all apart, I would recommend installing new adjustable shocks like the Billstein, Rancho Quicklift, or Belltech. Then you won't need a leveling kit.

I agree. I recently installed a level kit and wish I had gone with the Billstein's instead. But I plan on a 6" before long so ill lose the steel pucks.

I asked what to get on this forum and was told the Daystar. So that is what I got and I think I will stick with it.

With 58k miles on the vehicle I am thinking it would probably be smart to replace the shocks as well. I was thinking the Monroe Sensa-Trac, any comments? I am also wondering if there is anything else I should consider replacing.

Anything that is worn out!
The upper balljoints/control arms are pretty easy to replace, since you'll be seperating the balljoint from the knuckle anyway. But then again they may be fine. If they are bad, most people go with Moog greasable joints.
