Only thing I get out of this thread is bummed that you guys arent supporting local business by ordering this stuff from local shops... cause I can almost garauntee(sp) that any local family business will give hella coustomer service...
Yeah honestly dude...I'm not throwing away hundreds of my $$$$$ just to support local business. Survival of the fittest my friend! If local business wants to stay intact then maybe they need to adapt and refine so they can compete. For those of us w/out the space to do our own work, they rape us in install charges so I don't feel bad that I don't buy the parts from them and let them further rape me!

Have fun throwing yor money away buddy......not me!

i have had luck locally when i got my lift, wheels and tires i got everything price matched from a local shop, now they dont seem to be wanting to price match as much but their shop is growing and where i live people are idiots and just throw away money so its not a big deal for them to price match.

online is usually easier unless you want it now

I tried getting most of the stuff I have ordered on line locally and nobody even wanted to touch it. They encouraged me to buy online!

Here's something for you guys to laugh at.....

I gave a local company here by the name of Trick Trucks the chance to price match the Rize lift I bought and they baulked at the price I was paying. They even went to the extent of telling me that Rize was going to call Exalt ad tell them they couldn't sell the kit to me for that cheap. I inquired about install fees and they quoted me $3000-$4000!!!!!!!!! JUST FOR INSTALL!!!!!!! Another local shop tried to tell me $2k-$2500! I tried to order my Nfabs through them also and they wouldn't even get them pc matched for me even though I had already talked to Nfab themselves and they said they do it all the time and it was as easy as the retailer making a phone call. The ****ty thing is that my girls little sister went to school with the owners son and her dad knows him really well. I've met the guy before and believe me, he's not hurting for money! He's gone from 1 shop to 11 shops to include 2 that just opened.

It's people willing to spend the extra money at a local place that encourages that kind of gross behavior. That and pure greed.

I don't even attempt to buy local anymore. It is almost like a slap in the face everytime. That goes for almost anything too, not just auto parts. Except for the stuff I pick up at walmart or something, most of my shopping is online. Prices are 10x better.
Example: Wagner brake pads were $20 more per set at the local DAP. No name rotors were almost twice as much as my Wagner rotors.
I just picked up a set of 4 Bilsteins for $209 shipped. Doubt you could get close to that at any local shop. Plus they always try to rape you on install.
I personally love to see shady, over priced businesses go under. ******* them. I took my jeep into a trans shop for a small leak, they came back saying it needed a full rebuild, with a price of 1500. Told them no thanks. 1 month later I went to my buddies house for, fixed the leak in about 1-2 hours. Should of just done that in the first place, but was strapped for time.

The greed of the business owners is what is causing this so called crisis. They have been raping people for years, but now the internet has saved the people from paying rediculous prices, so now, they are all fawked.
