lowering or leveling kit?
Hey guys,
I have a 2005 Ford F-150 4x2 regular cab long bed and well i was wondering if i should get a leveling kit for the front and put on bigger tires or get lowering shackles and keep the same size tires?

I've done both, started with a 2" AS and a 1/5" AAL, then took them off and went with a 2" drop shackle set. Now I'm dropped 2/4.

I recommend drop shackles. Cheaper.

i dont wanna slam it i just wanna level it out but i dont know which option to pick i though about the drop shackles

Didn't say you did, I was just sharing my experiences.

You can find shackles anywhere from $50 or so in the classifieds here to over $100 at online stores.

ive got a leveling kit and i love the way it looks and its not stiff like some of the lowering kits make it. Thats my personal choice tho good luck!

lowering shackles wont make the ride stiff or undesirable by any means.

My vote is lowering, but watch out either way up or down its addicting, you always want a little more
