Which kit would you recommend?

Okay, I have a 09 FX4 and want to level the front with the rear. I decided to go with AutoSpring for the level kit - just unsure which kit to go with as I don't want the front higher than the rear.
This is what I measured on a level ground as I could find:

Rear: From the ground to the start of the fender: 39 1/2"

Front: From the ground to the start of the fender: 37 1/4"

So, would you recommend the 2" or 2 1/2" kit? I want as close to level as possible but not over the top. I read somewhere here where the kit you get is actually a little less in "real" height, but damn if I can find it again.

Appreciate the help - I wanna order one up tonight so it'll be on the way!

I have an 06 so take this for what it's worth. I had a 2.5" autospring kit on my truck prior to lifting and it made it just about level. From the eye you couldn't tell, but it did sit a tad higher in the front though, about 1/4".

Hell Bent Steel 2.5" is just right for the 09 F-150

Thanks for the info. I ordered the AS 2 1/2" kit last night and it has already been shipped. I just hope I got the right one!

The spacer itself doesn't actually measure 2.5", it's 1.75" but it yields 2.5" of lift if this is what you were talking about in the OP.

I recommend adjustable shocks. Then you can dial them in "just right".
