Good deal? 4" Rancho kit

'K so first off my truck is going to be a road queen. I blew up two trucks doing the whole "off-road" thing and am not about to do that to my '03 Supercab (39,000 miles)

With that out of the way I've been looking around here and else where and have settled on the Rancho 4" kit (in red) with the purely for looks optional skid plate. The Rancho seems to get some good reviews here and it's possible to stuff 33-35" tires under it (I'll be going the 33" route for starters)

I found a really good deal on a site called Performancelifts.com

Does $1,750 for the kit with Free shipping (including RS5000 shocks in all four corners) seem reasonable?

Edit: P.S. The skid plate will be added later for $250 from a different site.

Can you fit 35" tires on a 4" Rancho for the '97-'04 body style? I haven't heard if you can on those years. I had looked into the Rancho kit when I had a '97 and saw that they advertised you could run 33" tires which I was already running so I didn't get it. Maybe you can fit 35" tires with some trimming? Something to double check before you definitely go for that kit.

Yeah, but he said he'd be running 33's for starters. Sounds like 35's could be in his future plans.

found it. I'd want pictures of the real thing first. Also sounds like he hasn't pulled it off yet.

See how much not taking the kit with the shocks would be, and then add some Bilstiens to it and you should be good to go.

It's $1,580 without shocks and free shipping.

i found bilstein 5100's for $80ea. So $220 total. That pushes the kit to almost $2000
