Improving Truck ride

I have a 2001 Ford F150 Supercab. I want to improve the ride. I would like for it to ride smoother. Any suggestion on what I should change to improve the ride?

dont cheap out on the shocks. A high quality shock will make the world of a difference, and should outlast the crap shocks you can find for 20-30 bucks a piece

#1: change the shocks to a high quality shock

#2: look for a set of crew cab harley truck or Lightning rear leafs they will help the ride a bit (the '03-'04 lightnings had the better rear springs) or a set of lincoln blackwood rear monoleafs

Find a low ply tire with a soft tread. Tires vary as much as people when it comes to sizes, control and comfort.

Tires make a huge difference. I'd check the air pressure first.

even on a stock height truck, you could probably add a steering stabilizer to help bumpsteer.
