Question rear blocks??

hey ya'll I have an '05 lariat supercrew 4x4 and I plan on putting a 2.5 level kit on it along with 35 inch tires on the stock rims. I do alot of towing with my truck mostly pulling my 20 foot bass boat to tournaments etc. So my question is with the 35's will i need to add rear blocks or an AAL along with my leveling kit or will it be fine to pull anything i want consistently without doing anything to the rear end?

You don't need to add anything to your rear end. A block will not add to your payload. Blocks are purely for aesthetics. You can do an add-a-leaf. Fat Bob's Garage has several to choose from. I also like the Hellwig helper springs.

Im doing the 2.5 level kit and swapping the FX4 stock 2inch block for a 3 inch block. It wil give me 1/2 inch rake. I only tow on and off or put he bike up in the back to go to track. Like mentioned....blocks are only clearance or looks.

ok well thank ya'll i just wanted to make sure that with the weight it will not sag enough for the 35's to cause a problem rubbing anything with the extra weight on it

do yourself a favor..... install some airbags on the back. then you will never worry about clearance issues.... AND, some trucks running a 2.5" leveling kit will then be "nose high". air bags will offset ANY affect that the leveling kit has, so you will always be exactly level. and, since they can support up to 5000 lbs, you will be good to go !!
