i personally just liked the stock gears better. the rpms are lower and getting much better gas milege. The truck will still smoke the rear tires.

Definitely lift it! I run 38's on my 9in... they rub but I wanted to go as big as possible and I think they look perfect. 37's will go great and won't rub... Im still runnin stock gears in mine... I just take o/d off everytime I get in the truck and nothing has gone wrong yet!

what are the benefits of turning O/D off , when running 37+ tires. when i lift mine , i probably wont be able to re-gear for a month or 2 .
i have 3.73 btw

Saveup an extra month or two and get it done at the same time.
