HELP!!! Lift question

ok so i have a 1987 F150 4x4 and i am going to get a lift for it and the tires i want only come in 35-14.50r15 because i want to keep the same wheels. i am going to put a 6 inch lift for my truck and i was wondering should i get a 3 inch body lift for better tire clearance for 35-14.50 tires?

How wide are your wheels? The 6" lift should be enough to clear the height of the 35" tire but depending on the width and backspace of the wheel 1 of 2 things might/will happen. If the wheel is too wide the tires might rub on the corners of the fenders and you would need the body lift. It the wheel is not wide but the back spacing is too deep, then the tire will rub a lot on your radius arms when parking or doing sharp turns. I had 35x12.50 on the stock wheels with a 4" lift. It rubbed on the radius arms but I just lived with it.
