Daystar leveling kit sagging

a little over a year ago I bought the daystar coil spring spacer and installed them on my truck after i lifted my truck a few more inches and put 35's on it, the spacers seem to be wearing in and sitting about an inch lower. Is this common? are the cast aluminum spacers better?

Same thing is happening with my trail master. I need to mesure it to see how much i lost, but it's not at 2.5'' anymore.

do not get the aluminum spacers.... if you change it out, i would get a steel spacer.... AutoSpring is probably the best (also one of the best priced). you know that steel wont compress or "settle".

do you know where i can find the autospring kit for my 2002? i only find them for the new body styles. also is the steel spacer a rougher ride or does it not make any difference?

i mean, i suppose it could be considered rougher b/c you wont have a polyurethane level kit wedged in between metal (which seems like it would soften the ride)... but that's all. So basically it will not make the ride rougher. You MIGHT notice a difference just going from polyurethane to steel, but you shouldn't.

I'd bet money on your coilsprings settling over the Daystar spacers settling.

its settling faster because with the spacer on it, its carrying more load on the spring, causing to wear out faster. springs are cheap and easy to replace if its a problem.

you could try a 3.5" spindle lift, no sag their, and you can get your factory ride back. side effects are they push your front wheels out 1-2 inches and it might make your tires rub on the valance. but thats nothing a litle trimming cant fix.
