Just about anything will be an improvement over the oem shocks. Bilstiens will be the best choice, but Rancho's, Pro Comps, etc. will also work better than the stockers.

I did some research of my own before I had my rears done last Fall.
I ended up buying the Monroe Gas Magnum's. I have a cpl of friends at the dealership and they agreed with my choice. You can take one more step up and go with the Monro Reflex Monotubes. I will be doing my fronts in the next month and will probably go with the Monotubes. They are about $30.00 more for the pair of them. My truck has 145k on it.
