loose steering

On my 93 2wd F150 the steering is kind of loose. When your going down the road straight the wheel is turned to the right about an inch. How do I tell what I need to replace exactly?

I read 2 different problems there. As far as the wheel being off, does it go straight with the wheel crooked? If so you just need to have it aligned and they can straighten the wheel by adjusting the tie rods.
The other deal with it feeling loose....do you mean it has a lot of play? Like you can turn the steering wheel but there is no movement at the tires? It sounds like you may possibly have some worn out tie rods or draglink. If they're tight, then it's a steering gear box issue. I don't remember if the 92-96 trucks had an adjustable steering gear but you may look in to that. Good Luck!!!
