purchasing ball joints

any suggestions as to where? dont mind buying online.

rockauto has spicer/raybestos lowers for $28 a piece or should i go with the moogs for $32?

only problem i have with these is they all look serviceable. do i have to put the grease fitting in?

personally, i would do them all at once. you can buy just the uppers, and just press them into your stock upper control arm. you don't need to buy a whole new arm for each side.

too late now. actually found the whole shebang on ebay so i guess ill be replacing the uppers while im in there.

ive always wondered about that. everyone says you have to buy the whole upper arm because the ball joint is pressed in. ive always wondered why you couldnt just press them back out. lol

Would either of these sets be ok http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...item25554185fb or http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ball-...item51905192c6? I know they aren't the best, but I have a 2002 FX4 with ~140K miles so I'm not looking to break the bank. Or are there better alternatives for about the same price? I really only need the upper and lower joints, as the tie rods were replaced at ~100k miles. Thanks,

-Mac
