What size lift?

I just bought an 02 F150 Crew Cab (4wd). It has a RCD suspension lift. My question is how do I find out the exact size of the lift. I asked the previous owner, but she wasn't sure. I know most 4wd lifts are 6". Any help would be appreciated and sorry no pics yet. Thanks

RCD is a 5.5" Lift. But it could be more if the torsion bars are cranked.

The easiest way to check is find a drop bracket... torsion bar crossmember or front crossmember are best and measure from the top to the bottom that will give you a good estimate.

are you looking at a 97-03 F150 4x4? Ive always seen them listed as 5.5 even the parts list they are listed as 5.5. But dont forget they are adjustable so they might have the .5 of an inch added for torsion bar crank. This makes it more appealing to customers.
