Bad noise from truck help asap

Alright. My left front corner sounds like something is really loose. Ive change the idler arm, pitman arm, all balljoints/upper control arms, and tie rods. Ive doublechecked to make sure everything is tight and it seems ok. Noise only seems to happen when you hit a bump. loud enough to hear it inside the truck even with true duals/mufflerless exhaust. anyone have a guess what this could be? my shocks are brand new procomps so i dont think its coming from them. Could it be my hub is going bad? Need help asap

Sway-bar end-links? Just a thought. Maybe you or someone else forgot to re-tighten them after doing some front end work.

its kinda hard to describe. its kind of a mix between a clunk and a rattle. Im hoping its sway bar end links or sway bar bushings, but im not 100% sure and dont want to dump any money into it again until i know. I jacked the truck up earlier and shook the wheel and it didnt budge at all, so i think the hub should be fine

Check your caliper bolts i just had the same thing going on and one day it got really bad i knew right away a bolt had fallen out i used my E-brake to stop so it wouldnt engrave my rim anymore then it did. i heard the noise for about 3-4 weeks before it fell out and i couldnt figure it out the Ball joints were brand new inner and outter tie rod were new and the shock was new. same with sway bar links.

Id deff check all the caliper stuff make sure thats all tight too. other than that i donno what it might be.

yeah the caliper is fine. i had that issue to where one actually came completely out on the interstate 1 day. im kinda thinking its the sway bar end links since thats all ive got left besides the hub, which dont wanna replace until i know for sure. Anyone know how many mm my bar is? napa has like 4 sizes of bushings for it too

Is it a sharp sounding clunk/thwak?

I had a slight noise after replacing my ball joints, turn out one of the low A-arm bolts wasn't as tight as it was supposed to be. IIRC they get like 180-200ft-lbs. I put a breaker bar on it and pulled as hard as possable, noise went away.

But thats cause I had the lower arm out like I said,I would check your sway bar links and bushings first as other have mentioned. Thats one of the most common suspenion noise causes there is next to broken strut mounts/bearing plates witch you don't have .

Napa most likely is going to sell you a long grade 5 bolt with 4 washers,a spacer,4 rubber bushings, and a nut. Generic replacement for anything,or so they think.

You can take-out the end links and drive it around the block and see if it still makes the noise befor you go buying new links though.

Just make sure when you take it off push the bar up as high as it will go so it doesnt hit the upper arm and make you think it still is making a noise IF the links are indeed the problem.

dang i am having this same problem....new upper/lower ball joints, new upper a-arm with inners, new inner/outer tie rods ends, new springs, new shocks, new wheel bearings, new brake rotors and pads, calipers are tight.

my next thought was the idler arm and then the pitman arm, but like you i don't want to spend a fortune on this thing. the sway bar links on my truck look tight and fine and so do the bushings (not cracked or anything.) my idler arm is pretty greasy and dirty looking, but other than that everything seems really tight.....it just makes this popping clunking noise and only when i jerk the steering wheel back and forth violently or going over a bumpy road.....

any update on this thread??? i would like to know what you find on your truck. i have a 2001 screw.
