Rancho Installed Cost
Rancho Installed Cost
4 Wheel Parts quoted me $881.28 for Rancho Shocks.
Fronts RS999767 2 for $373.98
Front install $225.00
Rears RS999286 2 for $195.98
Rear install $45.00
Tax $41.32
Does this seem normal and reasonable or on the high end?
I realize the front coil over spring requires some extra labor time.
Thanks

Some places only charge about $400-$500 to install an entire suspension lift, so $225 to install the fronts is ridiculous to me, especially after installing my own. It's really not that hard, you just need a couple tools of the correct size and to rent a spring compressor from an auto parts store. But if you don't want the hassle of doing it yourself, I personally wouldn't pay over $100.
And installing rear shocks on our trucks is one of the easiest things to do...I wouldn't pay someone $5 for that. Just remove 2 bolts, swap out the shocks, and reinstall the bolts. You don't need to jack the truck up or anything to swap the rears, it's simple.

i agree. the shop here charges 2 hours labor for swapping out the front shocks, so that's 150, plus 50 for an aligment. i would buy the shocks from somewhere online and take them not associated with 4WP's, nothing but crooks IMO and i wouldn't let them fix a flat tire.
