front shocks

i have a 2000 f150 7700 4x4 and i need new front shocks. i kinda like the ranchos rs5000 but was wondering what you guys would recommend.

id have to say after installing a set of Bilsteins (front and rear) that that would have to be what id go with!

Do you have to compress the spring to change the front shocks?

On yours yes, on the original OP, no.

I got the Rancho's on my wife's expy and I've been very pleased with the performance so far...

x2 on the Bilsteins!!
I have them on wife's Expe and I got the 5100 series adjustable height ones on my 05 F150. Best ride imo
